Avondale Heights Netball Club
Come Play at Avondale
At Avondale Heights Netball Club, we have teams and offer programs for players aged 5yrs+.
Our goal is to provide opportunities to our community to play netball and develop their skills. We offer a range of teams and programs within different competitions to cater for all players. We have both social and more competitive programs so players can move through the club based on where they are at or where they want to go in their netball career.
Competitions
Our teams compete in the Parkville Netball competition, with games held at either Parkville Indoor Stadium or Riverside on various days and nights. This competition is a valuable platform for showcasing our players' talent and supporting them to reach their full potential. Each year, players are thoughtfully selected and placed into teams that match their skills and abilities, ensuring they are both challenged and supported.
In addition, we participate in the Essendon District Netball competition, with games played at Riverside on Saturday afternoons. This competition offers a more relaxed environment where players can refine their skills, enjoy the game, and play alongside friends, blending development with fun.
